  22.      A digital elevation map. Basically a file describing various elevation
  23. levels at given coordinates. Useful if you have to re-create a specific
  24. environ but not as much fun as creating your own as they come in a multitude
  25. of flavors and often cost a bunch (especially for us in Canada
  26. where I haven't found ANY resolution availiable free). Used by popular terrain
  27. software like VistaPro, Scenery Animator and World Construction Set.
  28. There are PD versions to give it a try.... A great way to punish
  29. your machine as it takes no effort to keep it busy for weeks or months...
